HOW DO OXYGEN SENSORS WORK & WHERE ARE THEY LOCATED?

Oxygen sensors are normally located in a vehicle’s exhaust and detect air and fuel mixtures. The sensor is part of the vehicle’s emissions control system and relays information by voltage to the engine’s computer. The ECM (Electronic Control Module) then controls and regulates the air/fuel mixture. This means that when the air/fuel mixture is too rich the sensor generates a higher voltage, and when the mixture is too lean the sensor generates a lower voltage. This process corrects the air/fuel mixture and helps your vehicle run efficiently and produce fewer emissions.

TODAY’S TUNE UP...

Did you know that oxygen sensors, like spark plugs, should be replaced regularly to keep a vehicle running clean and efficiently?

The oxygen sensor is today’s new way to tune-up your car. When replacing a worn or failed oxygen sensor in your vehicle, you are making the best investment for your vehicle’s future.

A good oxygen sensor will provide the following:
1.      Clean and efficient gas emissions
2.      Improved vehicle performance
3.      Improved Gas mileage

All of the above will save you money!

Keep your vehicle running at peak performance. Install an SNG Oxygen Sensor…DO IT RIGHT!
